Messy Hair; Don't Care

Every girl can relate to the fact that "sometimes our hair wash schedule does not align with our going out schedule". And of course, what girl wants to rush through washing her hair and then making sure it looks good? Not me! That is why dry shampoo was my best friend for awhile, but then I thought...why not make my "bad hair days" an excuse for a statement piece...like a headband!

Not only does it cover your undone hair, but it looks like you did it on purpose, what could be better?! I threw my hair up into a messy bun and paired it with this rust colored with floral print; it is just so colorful and eye-catching! Since I wanted the headband to be my statement piece, I kept the rest of my outfit neutral colored.

As a top I wore this silky white button up blouse. You can get these almost anywhere! I got mine at Forever 21, but I found this nice one (plus it's easy iron!) at H&M! I would also check out your local thrift shop! It will probably be much cheaper, not to mention you might come across some awesome vintage brands or designs!

 

I then paired it back to denim because you can never go wrong with a great pair of jeans! While denim is still a neutral piece I chose my fringe hem pair because I absolutely adore this detailing! It also adds a little more texture to the whole outfit. Once again, I bought this pair at Forever 21, but I found this great pair online! At Maurices; the denim wash is the perfect shade. I then finished it off with some basic black sandals and a black belt!
