One Shirt, Two Ways (so far...)

 If you know me, personally or from social media, then you should have come to realize by now that I really like cats (love my own two!). So, when I saw this shirt, I knew I needed it!! I was too slow at my own store and it actually sold out the day we put it out on the salesfloor, but luckily for me, they had one left at another Forever 21 that I went to for training. I snatched it so fast that no one even had the time to realize it was still there.

The first time I wore this shirt, I paired it with some olive slacks, a plain black cardigan and my gold booties. As I mentioned in my previous post, I usually stuck to the basic black and brown shoes so I am excited that I have been taking some "risks" (if you can even call it that) and giving in to this statement bootie trend. I especially love the way that these catch the light!

The second time I decided to wear this shirt I paired it with my FAVORITE high rise black skinnies, which are from Fashion Nova!! Just a quick break to talk about Fashion Nova. When I first saw all the ads for it on Instagram, I was extremely skeptical and thought it was a scam. However, I then saw all these celebrities wearing the brand so I came to the conclusion that there was no way it could be a scam, but then I thought that if celebrities are wearing it then it is probably too expensive for me. Well, lo and behold, not only is everything fairly priced, but the items are so amazing. These jeans are SUPER high waisted (which I love), they have the perfect amount of stretch to them, and they just hug every part of your body so nicely. So, if you have not yet, definitely jump on the Fashion Nova train!

Shirt, Cardigan and Thigh High black boots (which pretty much blended in with my jeans) are all from Forever 21. I posed with my wonderful bookcase because I thought I looked kind of like a librarian. Ya know, just trying to make glasses cool again because I am sick of contacts 😝

As the title says "so far..." because I love this shirt and both times I have worn it, I got so many compliments. I am looking forward to styling it in a more casual way and also with a skirt in the near future!
