Lazy Days Are Okie Too.
Since graduating college I have had two jobs in order to pay for my bills, pay back my student loans and still have money for myself. And it can be TIRING.
On top of that I am trying to get this blog to grow, trying to make my own brand and also trying to maintain my social media account in order to get a bigger audience and I recently joined the gym! There are days where I feel like I am just constantly running and honestly, I feel guilty if I take a break. Truth is though, if something is meant to manifest for you, then it will! Not to say you should not continue to working, because you definitely should put your all into achieving your goals, but you should also listen to your body and know when it is time to take a break..
That being said...it brings me to my outfit from the other day.
I woke up super groggy, did not feel like going to work in the slightest. I was feeling all sorts of exhaustion from working on floorset plus everything else. So, I hit snooze and I decided to sleep for a few extra minutes. Then, instead of going through my usual routine of making sure my bangsw ere perfect and I had a cute outfit on...I put my hair in a ponytail, pinned back my bangs and put on some sweats. I mean...it's floorset week anyway so better be comfy for all the moves I would have to do in the store ;)
Since I am a manager in retail, I did not want my comfy look to come off as too lazy so I paired it back to some "cool chic" pieces.
I wore a grey sweater which I got from Poland, I believe it is from Bershka though, which is SUPER soft and despite how light and thin it is, it really keeps you warm. I paired it with my olive joggers from Cotton On, my ADIDAS Superstars and topped it off with a leather jacket.
I felt so comfortable all day and still felt really cool in my outfit.
And yes, I took these selfies at work because we got new fitting rooms so I thought I would show them off! :)
