I Never Carry My Backpack The Right Way.
This year it seems that every season had it's "statement piece" and Spring is ALL ABOUT the statement earring which I am totally here for! They were seen on the runways and now they are popping up in all the stores / online shops. The thing about a statement earring is that it is an easy way to make an outfit pop! Now you can wear your basic t-shirt with your favorite jeans and throw on a pair of statement earrings and a normally "basic outfit" looks like something you actually put time and effort into.
I also love the vivid colors that these earrings are coming in. I tend to stick to basic colors throughout ALL seasons. In the winter time I like my black, greys and white and during the summer I tend to gravitate towards earthy tones. Now, I can throw on a pair of these fun earrings and I am adding a pop of color to my outfit that is subtle, yet eye-catching.
The earrings I have on in this outfit are red tassle earrings from Forever 21, which you can buy right here. I decided to take a risk in my opinion, and pair it with my leopard print sweater. I guess normally, I would wear earrings like this with a more basic outfit, but I was really inspired by some street style photos I saw, as well as some of my favorite bloggers so I decided to add some print!
The sweater is also Forever 21, but I got it AGES ago. However, I feel like leopard print is a timeless thing that will not go out of style, at least not any time soon. I found this one on Forever 21 which is currently on sale and I think that it is really cool because it kind of looks like a sweater/ sweatshirt hybrid.
I paired this with my leather pants which are H&M and I decided to throw on my leather jacket which is Forever 21. I completed the outfit by putting on my beloved gold booties. I know you have seen these before on my blog / instagram, but I just cannot get enough of them. I feel like the shape is so cool and the heel curves which looks awesome; and they are gold! So, they make any outfit pretty figgin cool.
And, as the title of my blog states, I never wear my backpack the way it is meant to be worn.
