Denim Shirts And Jumpsuits: A Memoir

To be honest, yes, I have definitely thought multiple times about writing a memoir and titling it that. There have been many times where friends have mentioned that denim shirts were my "signature look". And even my boyfriend has said, "Not the denim shirt again", lol. But, what can I say...it is the perfect layering piece in my opinion. Especially with a jumpsuit!

I think I have to thank my grandfather for my love of denim shirts. He wore them ALL the time, layered or alone tucked into his pants. I remember one summer when we went to Poland, I opened his closet and there they were, hanging in a row, different shades of denim shirts. I loved wearing them, especially so oversized and smelling of my grandfather and that love for them has continued on in my life. I cannot say that my collection is as impressive as my grandfather's, but I do believe that I making my way up there ;).

As for jumpsuits, I feel like most girls can agree with me that it is one of the most perfect go to outfits. You do not have to think about matching a top and bottom because it's a one-piece. And, if you're anything like me, running late even when you wake up early, this is most convenient option. I think I should be ashamed at how many jumpsuits I own, but I am not...at all. I love all of them, different styles and colors! My favorite ones are the Bohemian print ones, like the one pictured.

Not only are jumpsuits perfect for a casual look, but they can very easily be turned into a "going out" look. It is really all about the way you accessorize and dress it up / down. I will be featuring this in a future post that I have in mind! So stay tuned.

Both jumpsuit and denim shirt are from Forever 21, but I got them awhile ago so they are not available anymore. However, both these items are extremely popular ones and are available pretty much everywhere. Some sites that I would recommend are ASOS, Fashion Nova, Nordstrom Rack, Charlotte Russe, American Eagle. Sunglasses are thrifted Ray Bans and the necklace is from Israel; you cannot really tell in the photos, but it is a little golden leaf, I love it.

xx,
Kasia
